
The Lodge is the name of Golden Tulip Hospitality’s new restaurant, bar and lounge concept.
The Lodge concept incorporates a “comfortable” restaurant, bar and lounge in the same area, designed to create an informal atmosphere for eating and drinking. Kitchens will open between 7am and 10pm, offering breakfasts, light snacks and full dining to a background of easy listening music.
The Lodge concept will incorporate four sub-categories – In the City, On the Lake, In the Forest and By the River - depending on location, catering for local diners as well as hotel and conference guests.
The first Lodge will open in Hamburg at the Golden Tulip Hamburg Aviation in December this year, followed by the Tulip Inn Düsseldorf in January 2007. The concept will be made available to Golden Tulip’s franchisees with the aim of introducing a Lodge Restaurant, Bar and Lounge to most hotels operated by Golden Tulip.
