Time is fast running out for nominations for Caterer's Hotelier of the Year 2005.
If you think you know the next winner, send your entry to Caterer and Hotelkeeper before the deadline of 12 September. Since 1983, the award has honoured the industry's top hoteliers and general managers.
The winners come from across the spectrum of the hotel sector, from budget to five-star establishments, such as last year's winner, Patrick Elsmie, operations director at Gleneagles. Past winners have included visionaries such as One Aldwych's Gordon Campbell Gray, and founders like Hotel du Vin creator Robin Huston.
Winners will need to show attention to detail, a good head for business, a personal touch with customers and be an ambassador for the sector.
