Contract caterer Bartlett Mitchell has recruited Francois Gautreaux as operations director for the City.
Francois was general manager at the Goldman Sachs contract in the City, which was won from Compass Group by Aramark last month in an estimated £10m a year deal.
Wendy Bartlett, managing director of Bartlett Mitchell, said: “Our company has significantly grown its presence in the City over the past two years and the timing was right for us to invest in a highly talented manager with the in-depth commercial acumen needed for the Square Mile.”
Texas-born Gautreaux has also worked on catering contracts at the BBC and Deloitte.
Last November, Bartlett Mitchell scooped a £2.5m total value deal to look after more than 1,000 staff at information services firm McGraw-Hill.
