Vegetables from Anona Fresh

Tuesday 08 November 2005 16:24

Anona Fresh has launched a range of prepared vegetables in revolutionary packaging aimed at offering convenience while retaining the goodness and health benefits found in the vegetables. The company says the bags allow natural respiration through microperforations which allows the vegetables to breathe and therefore last longer. The choice of vegetables includes mange-tout, sugar snap, fine beans, extra fine beans, asparagus tips, baby carrots, lemon grass, baby pak choi, sliced baby courgettes, sliced flat beans, sliced runner beans, sliced baby corn, sliced green chillies, sliced red chillies, shelled garden peas, shelled petit pois and diced butternut squash. The vegetables are sourced from assured and trusted farms and are picked, washed with pure spring water and spun-dry so there's no chemical contamination. They're then bagged, naturally flushed with air and shipped within 24 hours of harvest.

Prices: start at £3 per kg
