Bill and Heather Morse from Swindon have made their first move into the hospitality sector with the acquisition of the Foxdale guesthouse and campsite in Pembrokeshire.
The four-star guesthouse and three-star campsite are in the coast village of Marloes in Haverfordwest within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The detached guesthouse contains three letting bedrooms, a large residents’ lounge, and a six-seat main dining room with a licensed bar to the side
The owners’ accommodation provides two double bedrooms (one with an en-suite bathroom) and a sitting room with French doors.
Along with a garage, car port and greenhouse, the rear of the property has a garage workshop with a kitchen, dining facilities and a patio area to serve breakfasts, coffees and snacks to the campers.
The campsite, which is licensed for 30 tents, covers two acres and provides access to a shower and toilet block, a wash-up area and refrigeration facilities.
The Bristol office of Christie + Co sold the property for close to the asking price of £485,000 on behalf of the previous owners who had run the business for 17 years.
