Brown Basmati rice from Veetee

Thursday 09 February 2006 15:16

Rich in B vitamins, a good source of fibre and easier to digest than white rice are three of the attributes Veetee claims makes its Brown Basmati Rice suitable for the education and healthcare sectors. Veetee removes only the outer husk of the rice, leaving most of the grain intact, so it retains more of its nutritional goodness. It takes slightly longer to cook than white rice, at about 25 minutes, and is free from additives, GM ingredients and gluten.

Price: £15.69 for a 5kg bag
