Former Hilton food and beverage manager Stefan Breg is opening a caf‚ in Britain's first erotic department store, Hustler Hollywood, in Birmingham's city centre.
Breg described the new 8,000sq ft department store - originated by US porn king Larry Flynt - as a mix between high-street chain Ann Summers and upmarket lingerie company Agent Provocateur.
Breg's company Tribe Restaurant and Bar Creators came up with the concept for the in-store caf‚, called Blussh, which it will manage. The caf‚ will compete with high-street coffee shops such as Costa and Starbucks.
The menu is divided into sections such as "Indulge Me", "A Bit On the Side" and "Nine-inch Panini (Man Inches)" and will include sandwiches, cakes and coffee. Average spend in the 50-cover caf‚ is expected to be about £2.50-£3.
Breg left Hilton last Christmas to start Tribe, a hospitality consultancy.
