London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 20.49% in the week ending 4 May, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £114.62, up from £95.13 during the equivalent week of 2007.
Occupancy rose by 9.68 percentage points to 85.75% and average room rate advanced by 6.89% to £133.67 compared with £125.05 in the corresponding week of 2007.

Using foraged ingredients is nothing new but the trend has become more mainstream over the past two years. However, the wider use of foraged food in restaurants also carries a certain amount of danger.
