TwinSet is a new space-saving option on Winterhalter's Energy+ GS500 pass-through dishwashers that will appeal to hospitals and other healthcare sites keen to slash costs.
TwinSet joins two standard warewashing machines together to boost washing capacity in peak times from up to 70 racks per hour to a maximum 140 racks per hour. During quieter times, the second machine can be quickly uncoupled to save on energy.
The GS500 Energy+ machines can already save as much as £1,095 a year by using exhaust heat recovered from steam and hot waste water to heat incoming cold water. They can also save hospitals thousands of pounds because they do not require separate extractors to be fitted.
TwinSet allows the hoods of both machines to be opened at the same time so they can be loaded and unloaded simultaneously. The system is compatible with GS501, GS502 and GS515 washers and can be retrofitted to GS500 models.
It is suitable for both straight and cornered layouts and has a maximum width ranging from 1,410mm to 1,610mm.
