Colin Badcock has joined the DoubleTree by Hilton Cadbury House hotel in Congresbury, near Bristol, as general manager, where he will take control of the day-to-day running of the four-star hotel and house. Having worked for more than 20 years across the hotel sector, Badcock's previous roles include director of operations at the Marriot Royal in Bristol, operations manager at the Cardiff Marriot and more recently GM at the Ramada Gloucester, Bowden Hall.
A member of the Cotswold & Forest of Dean tourist board, he recently joined Gloucester's marketing board and is looking forward to developing similar links with the business and tourism sectors in Bristol, North Somerset and across the South-west.
