The Skelwith Group, owners of Raithwaite Hall Country Retreat in Whitby, North Yorkshire, has announced the appointment of Richard Mansell as general manager of the luxury country hotel ahead of its opening in October. He joins with nearly 20 years' experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, including five spent with West Paces, which will operate Raithwaite Hall on behalf of the Skelwith Group.
Mansell's former roles include opening rooms executive and then director of operations at Capella Telluride in Colorado, and opening front-of-house manager at Capella Castlemartyr in County Cork.
