The University of Edinburgh has launched a new flagship 526-bedroom accommodation complex for student and commercial use, located in the heart of the historic city.
Located on the Pollock Halls site, the new rooms are within walking distance of Edinburgh's old town district and contain en-suite bathroom facilities, beds capable of being split into singles for commercial letting, and access to the university's internal data and telephone network.
The university's business development director, Chris Barnes, said the accommodation's location and pricing offered commercial customers excellent value and represented an offering comparable to those of budget hotels.
