Crab meat from M&J Seafood

Thursday 09 November 2006 00:00

A range of premium quality Portunas Pelagicus Blue Swimming Crab Meats, renowned for their sweet flavour and picked from the tropical waters of South East Asia, have been introduced by M&J Seafood. Blue Star Crab Meats are supplied in pasteurised 454g pouches designed to lock in flavour and provide easy storage and a shelf life of up to six months. Three grades are available: Lump meat is the highest grade and consists of large chunks of white meat from the back of the crab's body; the white, flaky Special meat is less chunky than the Lump meat and usually the most economical; the pinkish Claw meat contains chunks of whole leg meat mixed with shreds from the claws and is considered to be the sweetest meat.

Prices start at £12.63 for the Lump meat; £10.87 for the Special meat; £7.19 for the Claw meat

Available from M&J Seafood 01296 333848
