BaxterStorey achieves IoH Premier status
BaxterStorey has received its top score and achieved Premier status in the Institute of Hospitality's (IoH) Hospitality Assured accreditation scheme.
The independent contract caterer was awarded a score of 75.3% for the Standard for Service and Business Excellence, ahead of the industry average of 68.6%, and is rated as a "world class" score by the IoH.
Chief executive Noel Mahony (pictured) said the top result is testament to the hard work by all the BaxterStorey teams to improve customer service and business excellence.
"BaxterStorey continues to raise its game and exhibits the commitment to ongoing continuous improvement, which is a hallmark of world class businesses," added Ann Corrigan FIH, managing director of Hospitality Assured.
"In particular, after visiting a number of sites, the assessors commented on the impressive culture of BaxterStorey, which they felt reflected strong, capable leadership and forward looking vision, as well as training excellence - all of which indicated a real commitment by the company to their service product."
The business was benchmarked against nine steps, with improvement noted across all categories. The assessors particularly highlighted the overall commitment to business, product and training excellence.
The Hospitality Assured process encourages businesses to look at their own operation from the customer's perspective and to see where improvements should be made to benefit the business.
