Pub operator Admiral Taverns has placed another 20 pubs up for sale to add to those 200 already on the market.
The group, which last week sold its entire estate of Scottish pubs to a subsidiary of Glasgow-based operator G1 Group, has put the pubs on the market through property agent Fleurets at prices ranging from £50,000 to £750,000,
Nick Germani, associate at Fleurets North office, said the prices will “provoke serious interest”.
“In our opinion, these sites offer a wide range of use, with interested parties already emerging, ranging from those looking to keep the properties licensed, to care home companies and even recently, those looking to create a place of worship,” he said.
Admiral has around 2,300 pubs in its estate, across England and Wales, and has been attempting to get rid of its most unprofitable outlets. It recently slashed the asking price of many of the pubs by as much as 50%.
