Marjory Brown has joined London wine tasting venue Vinopolis as head of events. Tasked with managing the event sales and operations teams and leading key accounts for corporate clients, Brown was previously business development manager for Concerto Group. She also previously worked as senior events manager at City venue Plaisterers' Hall for the company's catering arm, Create Party Food & Design.
Simon Wood has also been appointed as acting managing director at Vinopolis. Wood, who is chairman of Vinum, which manages and caters for Vinopolis's restaurants Cantina, Brew Wharf and Wine Wharf, will oversee both the corporate and consumer aspects of the business in his new role.
