After a £2.6m, two-year refurbishment, the Rocpool Reserve opens its boutique hotel doors to young, well-heeled professionals. The Reserve restaurant overlooks the river Ness.

  • Food: Try the pumpkin and ricotta ravioli, followed by the fillet of turbot with baby spinach, fresh clams and seared scallops in white wine and butter. Finish off with a chocolate marquis with pistachio custard.
