Richard Hobson-Cossey is the new general manager of the 100-bedroom Moat House Hotel in Reading, Berkshire. He moves from his post as general manager at the 128-bedroom Chester Moat House to take charge of the hotel’s 65 staff.
Moat House hotels has appointed Sean Quinney as the new general manager of its 119-bedroom Harlow Moathouse hotel in Essex. Sean is moving from Macdonald Hotels, where he previously worked for two years in the same capacity at its Hemel Hempstead hotel in Hertfordshire.
The 150-bedroom Newcastle Holiday Inn hotel in Seaton, Tyne and Wear, has appointed a new general manager. Andrew Lee moves from his last role as general manager of the 95-bedroom Sheffield Moat House.

Paul Morgan is the new general manager of the Grade-II listed Lansdown Grove hotel in Bath. He moves to the three-star, 60-bedroom hotel from his position as general manager of the four-star, 60-bedroom East Cliff Court Hotel in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Tom Wildblood has been made general manager of the three-star, 27-bedroom Linthwaite House Hotel in Cumbria. His previous post was the operations manager at the three-star, 21-bedroom Hazlewood Castle near Leeds.
Lynn Jordan is the new general manager of the 62-bedroom Sleep Inn Baldock hotel in Hertfordshire. She moves from her position as deputy general manager of the three-star, 96-bedroom Quality Hotel Welwyn, Hertfordshire.
The five-star, 141-bedroom Claridge’s hotel in London has appointed a new personal trainer at its Olympus health and fitness suite. Antony Gostling, who previously occupied the same position at the Savoy, will oversee three new fitness programmes.

Ian Thomas has been promoted to head of sales at Moat House Hotels. Having joined the company 18 months ago, he moves up from his previous role as head of national accounts.
The Clarence hotel in Dublin has promoted Nick Munier to the role of food and beverage manager. Nick joined the Clarence in 2002 from Marco Pierre White’s Belvedere restaurant in London and now moves up from his position as restaurant manager of the Tea Room Restaurant at the Clarence.
Restaurants
Keith Hallissey is the new restaurant manager of the Tea Room at the Clarence, Dublin. He was part of the original team that established the Tea Room when it opened in 1996. After a period away from the company, he rejoined in April 2003, since when he has been assistant restaurant manager.
