Contract caterer Compass has signed a five-year agreement with Moneybox to install cash machines at sites across the UK and Ireland. A similar deal with Moto will see the cash dispensers located in Compass's motorway services areas.
Moneybox has identified at least 100 suitable sites to take its cash machines next year. They are likely to be located in business and industry foodservice sites far from high-street cashpoints.
A spokeswoman said that they were primarily for customer convenience, but they did offer some money-making opportunities.
Compass will receive a proportion of any surcharge that is levied at some sites. Otherwise, it will benefit from arrangements Moneybox has with credit card suppliers.
