Hotels in the North West boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 4% during the month of December.
Revpar was £50.47 in December 2007, compared with £48.55 in the corresponding month of 2006, according to figures from hospitality research company STR Global.
Occupancy dropped by 0.3 percentage points to 67.4% while average room rate increased by 4.4% to £74.89, compared with £71.69 in December 2006.
