Deason's lease
The Restaurant Du Gourmet in Bristol has been renamed Deason's restaurant after being sold by Serg Francolini and Lucien Parusini. The pair, who owned the restaurant for 28 years, have retained the freehold since selling the business to Jason Deason, former head chef at the city's Glass Boat restaurant, and his wife Jodie. The restaurant was on the market with Christie & Co for a leasehold price of £100,000 and yearly rental of £30,000.
Hey green sold
Siobhan Hunter and Mark Dolman are the new owners of the Hey Green hotel at Marsden, near Huddersfield, having paid the £350,000 price asked by the Cleeve family through agent Robert Barry & Co.
Cornish kiwis
New Zealanders John and June Cornwell paid close to the £295,000 asking price for the Cellar & Loft restaurant in the Cornish village of East Looe. Agent Robert Barry & Co acted on behalf of previous owners Jean and Barry Bott.
Get stuffed got
The sale of Lincolnshire restaurant Get Stuffed, previously owned by Roger Fitton and Margot Dilworth, has been completed. The restaurant, in Tattershall Thorpe, was on the market for £425,000 and was bought by Nick Tysoe, who previously operated two Granada service stations on the M23 and M2 motorways. Christie & Co was the agent.
