LT Pub Management running in-administration Castle Inns

LT Pub Management has been appointed to manage the estate of in-administration Stirling-based leisure group Castle Inns.

Castle Inns, which has 12 bars and nightclubs in Scotland and employs around 400 people, went into administration on 8 July.

LT Pub Management has been running the estate as a going concern since that date on behalf of administrator Deloitte ahead on any potential sale of the business.

Billy Buchanan, chief executive of LT Pub Management, said: "We have a strong background in working with administrators such as Deloitte to manage businesses in administration and to advise on the future business potential of any given unit. Our experienced team is working closely with the outlet managers and staff to ensure that Castle Inns maximises its trading potential."

LT Pub Management currently runs over 1,100 bars, clubs and restaurants throughout the UK. It currently looks after the R+L (Retail & Licensed Properties) estate of 107 tenanted pubs in administration in Scotland.

Castle Inns was set up by brothers Paul and Stephen Smith in 1983 and venues include City and Sportsters branded outlets in Edinburgh, Perth and Falkirk.
