Compass Group has won a double deal at Twickenham Rugby Stadium, with total annual revenue expected to be £350,000.

The caterer’s business and industry arm, Eurest Services, has signed a three-year contract with the Rugby Football Union to provide catering to 250 members of staff from January.

Meanwhile Restaurant Associates (RA), Compass’s executive dining business, has extended its contract with Virgin Active and now provides catering in a gym located in the stadium’s new South Stand development.

Jason Leek, managing director of RA and Eurest Services, said: “We are very proud to be so heavily involved with the heart of England rugby and to complete the catering circle at Twickenham Rugby Ground.”

Last week, Compass healthcare division, Medirest, won a new £135m contract to provide catering and supply services at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in south London.

The group won the seven-year deal, previously held by Sodexo, after an extensive tendering process which began in December last year.
