John Campbell, Jason Atherton and William Curley to cook at Big Event

Charities Hospitality Action and Springboard UK have together secured renowened chefs John Campbell, Jason Atherton and William Curley to cook at a gala dinner as part of their fundraising effort at Hotelympia 2012, the Big Event.

The three chefs will appear at the event on 27 February. Campbell will work alongside a team from BaxterStorey to create the starter, Atherton will work with Compass Group to create the main course, and Curley will work with Elior to deliver a dessert.

The organisers of the Big Event at Hotelympia 2012 have so far been relatively secretive about what else is on offer but said the event would bring together a “host of established and emerging stars from the worlds of hospitality and entertainment”.

The aim of the event is to raise funds in order to help young, disadvantaged and unemployed people to get sustainable employment in the sector or supporting those who may have fallen on hard times or have developed a substance dependency.
