Restaurant Associates sponsors students
Restaurant Associates, the fine-dining division of Compass, has sponsored three young chefs from Bournemouth & Poole College. Recent graduates Alicia Hyacinth, Joe Allen, and Duncan Green, who have all found employment with Restaurant Associates, were the first students to be sponsored by the contract caterer at the college.
ISS Eaton advances to Mayfair
ISS Eaton has won a three-year contract at international property management company Grosvenor's head office in Mayfair, London, with annual sales of £1m. ISS Eaton will service the meeting rooms and executive dining room and cater for employees.
Alpha Airports
UK airline caterer Alpha Airports and its French alliance partner Compagnie des Wagon-Lits have been awarded the contract to manage the catering logistics for Eurostar. The contract, for operations at Waterloo International and Ashford International stations, started on 1 September.
Talkington Bates makes a million
Talkington Bates has announced three new contracts with a total turnover of more than £1m. At wine wholesaler Constellation Europe, it has won a four-year contract at the company's new headquarters in Esher, Surrey, with total turnover of £375,000. At purchasing group Londis Holdings in Erith, Kent, it has a three-year contract with annual turnover of £150,000. At recruitment firm Adecco's head office in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, Talkington Bates has a one-year rolling deal with sales of £145,000.
Sodexho spends another five years at college
Sodexho Scotland has renewed its contract at Perth College for a further five years. The total turnover for the new deal is £2m. Sodexho has catered at the college for 12 years. It has refurbished facilities, introduced a broader range of products in its shop and increased the display area for hot meals.
