Mews of Mayfair recruits ex-Nobu chefs

Thursday 11 May 2006 00:00
Former Nobu London chefs David Selex and Kurt Zdesar have joined forces at a new four-storey restaurant, lounge and cocktail bar in the heart of London's Mayfair.

Mews of Mayfair in Lancashire Court is the brainchild of James Robson and Robert Nearn, who hope to open three further Mews operations over the next five years.

Selex, who formerly worked at London's Grocer on Warwick, will be head chef at the first site, which opens in late June.

Zdesar, who introduced Nobu to London and went on to open dim sum restaurant Ping Pong, is acting as a consultant.
