The leasehold interest of the Georgian Coffee House in the historic town of Woodbridge, Suffolk has sold for close to the asking price of £180,000 through agent Christie +Co.
The traditional coffee shop occupies a Grade ll-listed building in the town’s main shopping street.
The property comprises an open-plan restaurant with seating for 48 diners, together with a rear conservatory and covered front terrace.
The new owner is Woodbridge resident Max Moussa, who previously owned a hotel in the west of England. Retiring owner, Yvonne MacAlpine had run the business since 2002.
