Employers recognise the importance of the coffee break, a fact emphasised in recent research conducted by Nestlé Professional which found that 65%* of coffee purchase decision makers view employee happiness as the key reason for providing coffee in their business.
The coffee break is said to have originated in the late 1800s in America by wives of Norwegian immigrants. However, the term was popularised by a Pan-American Coffee Bureau ad campaign which urged consumers, "Give yourself a Coffee-Break — and Get What Coffee Gives to You."
The coffee break has become an essential part of an employee’s day; it offers a chance to be sociable, to have a short break and to re-charge the batteries.
And what do employees want? They want a good tasting coffee, available when they want it and they want a reputable brand, one they recognise.
Nescafé is the brand leader in-home and out-of-home because as consumers and as employees, people prefer the taste, the aroma and the mouth-feel.
As always, it is important to take into account all the factors when deciding on the right beverage solution which is why Nestlé Professional works in partnership with its customers to tailor packages to fit their individual needs.
