Burger King has announced the resignation of Russ Klein, the company’s president of global marketing strategy and innovation, effective 15 December, due to personal reasons.
John W. Chidsey, chairman and chief executive officer of the chain, thanked Klein for his contributions to the business and said he was a “key factor in the company delivering six consecutive years of positive comparable sales through fiscal 2009."
Peter Robinson, former president of Burger King’s Europe, Middle East and Africa business segment, will oversee global marketing in the interim while the company seeks a permanent successor.
