On the Brakes Christmas menu, turkey options include British butterfly, single, or sliced roast turkey breasts, stuffed turkey fillets and Turkey Tournedos. Alternative meat options range from Welsh lamb rack, whole beef fillets, glazed ham joints and beef medallions with mustard and peppercorns to Chicken Jambonette, Salmon or Haddock en Croute and Albacore Tuna Supremes.

There is plenty of choice for vegetarians, too, such as a Somerset Brie & Beetroot Tart; a Butternut Squash, Stilton and Spinach Risotto; a Mushroom, Brie, Rocket and Redcurrant Filo Bundle; and a Mushroom & Walnut Hotpot Pie. Ready-prepared accompaniments include Random Cut Carrot and Parsnip, Carrot Baton Bundles - bound by courgette rings - King Edward Roasting Potatoes with Goose Fat and Gravy Granules for Poultry.

Starter ideas range from Salmon Mousse with a Soft Mustard and Dill Centre, Ham Hock or Pork and Cranberry Terrines, with Goats' Cheese and Red Pepper Cheesecake or Blacksticks Blue Cheese & Walnut Souffle for non-carnivores.

Alongside a Catering Iced Fruit Cake Slab and mini mince pies, the dessert options run from individual Baked Alaskas, Black Forest Gâteaux and Banoffee Pies to Cherry Bakewell and Crème Brûlée Cheesecakes. Also on offer is a variety of Christmas cheeseboards and after-dinner chocolates and coffees.
