Artizian takes over at Channel 4
Independent caterer Artizian has won a three-year contract to provide catering services at the offices of television company Channel 4. The deal, which will turn over about £1m per year, will see about 26 Artizian staff cater for up to 1,400 Channel 4 employees. It was previously run by ISS Eaton.

Restaurants at Work expands Cable & Wireless contract
Independent contract caterer Restaurants at Work (RaW) has won a three-year contract to provide catering services at seven offices of telecommunications group Cable & Wireless. The deal, which will turn over £1.5m per year, will see about 36 staff cater for up to 3,000 Cable & Wireless employees at sites in Manchester, London, Leeds, Bracknell in Berkshire and Bletchley in Buckinghamshire. BaxterStorey previously ran the sites in Bracknell, Bletchley and Manchester and RaW used to run the other sites.

Leith’s takes on 10-year deal at new Savill Gardens restaurant
Compass Group leisure division Leith’s has won a 10-year contract to operate the new Savill Gardens restaurant in Windsor Great Park, Surrey. The deal, which will turn over £1m per year, will see 35 staff cater for up to 1,500 customers.

Telecoms company COLT chooses Avenance
Elior UK business and industry division Avenance has won a three-year contract to provide catering services at telecommunications company COLT Telecom in north London. The deal, which will turn over £200,000 per year, will see three Avenance staff cater for up to 275 COLT employees. It is a new-build site.

In House Catering gets three years at the  College of Law
Independent contract caterer In House Catering has won a three-year contract to provide catering services at the College of Law’s new training centre in the City. The deal, which will turn over more than £330,000 per year, will see seven staff cater for more than 1,000 people at the centre.

Two school successes for Redcliffe Catering
Independent caterer Redcliffe Catering has won two three-year contracts to provide catering services at Aldersley High School in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, and King Edward VI College in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The Aldersley contract, which turns over £212,000 per year, will see six Redcliffe staff cater for up to 970 staff and pupils. The King Edward deal, which turns over £170,000 per year, will see four Redcliffe staff cater for up to 1,070 pupils and staff.

Chartwells to stay on at Millfield School for eight years
Compass Group specialist education division Chartwells has won an eight-year extension to provide catering and housekeeping services at Millfield School in Somerset. The deal, which will turn over about £2.7m per year, will see Chartwells cater for 2,300 staff and pupils.
