Cusqueña Lager

Following the success of Peru's number-one beer brand, Cusqueña Lager, comes the launch of Cusqueña Malta, a dark beer with a malty and slightly sweet taste. Though still essentially a lager in the way it is produced, Cusqueña Malta, at 5.6% abv, is a heavier beer than a traditional lager and described as having a rich and satisfying finish. For anyone with an interest in food and beer matching, the brewer says the beer will match such dishes as a starter of seared scallops, a beef main course or a dessert such as a chocolate brownie torte.
