Brad Simmons has left his job as sales manager at the Swan Hotel at Streatley, Berkshire, to join Elite Hotels. Brad has joined as account manager to look after clients in London, Hampshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Marston Hotels has appointed Marc Viercant general manager of the four-star, 100-bedroom Hythe Imperial in Kent. Marc worked at the hotel eight years ago as deputy general manager, but has more recently been managing Leeds hotels Weetwood Hall and the Ramada Leeds Parkway, and the Thistle Haydock in Lancashire.
The five-star, 188-bedroom Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh has welcomed Katrina Lynam as head therapist at its spa. Katrina previously held the same post at the Grove in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.

Compass Group's healthcare arm, Medirest, has appointed Maxine Cartz dietitian, based at its headquarters in Uxbridge, Middlesex. Maxine has been a dietician for various London hospitals.

Siobhan Liddington has become director of Blue Berry Associates, a new recruitment agency specialising in sales and marketing appointments in hospitality. Siobhan was formerly senior consultant at recruitment firm Quest Elite.
Casey Phillips has joined property agent Davis Coffer Lyons to handle rent reviews, lease renewals and rating negotiations. Formerly at agent Ross Jaye Sayer, Casey has four years' experience in the landlord and tenant field.
