Russell Bateman becomes head chef at the Grove in Hertfordshir

Russell Bateman has joined the Grove in Hertfordshire as head chef for its fine-dining restaurant, Colette's.

Bateman, who replaces Chris Warwick, joins from the Feathers in Oxford, where he was head chef since 2007.

Before this, he worked at a number of Michelin-starred restaurants, including Chez Nico, Pétrus, Auberge de L'Eridan, the Capital and Midsummer House.
