La Tasca, the Spanish-style, casual dining operator, has opened its fourth restaurant in the USA.
The new opening in Alexandria, Virginia, follows the delayed unveiling of a La Tasca in Baltimore this March.
The newcomers double La Tasca’s presence in the USA where it made its debut in Washington DC in November 2003. It also opened an outlet in Clarendon, Virginia, in February 2004.
La Tasca’s Washington restaurant has continued to feature in the group’s top five restaurants by turnover since launch, according to the group’s annual results published last week.
La Tasca intends to open seven restaurants in the UK, and is on the hunt for a financial partner with local management experience in the USA to develop the North American business further.
