Baxter and Platts retains £10m Prudential deal

Compass-owned catering company, Baxter and Platts, has retained a major contract with Prudential in a deal worth £10m in turnover.

Baxter and Platts will continue to provide catering services at the life and pension provider’s offices in Belfast; Stirling and Reading, Berkshire.

As part of the deal, the catering company plans to upgrade the restaurants and servery facilities over the coming year. First up is the Stirling office, where 2,500 staff are catered for.

Graham Box, managing director of Baxter and Platts in Scotland said: “We also plan to make substantial improvements on our existing food and include more healthy food options.”
