Filmbank launches 3D movie service for B&Bs and hotels

Filmbank Distributors, supplier of Hollywood movies to guest rooms, has launched a 3D movie service for B&Bs and hotels.

The firm's 3D DVD Concierge Licence allows guesthouses, B&Bs and hotels to legally offer 3D DVDs to their guests for in-room use.

B&B and hotel businesses can pay an annual fee of £45 +VAT per room, per annum, which then enables them to offer guests unlimited movies from participating studios during their stay.

A licence for seasonal properties, open eight months of the year or less, is also available, offering the same cover for properties for £30 +VAT per room, per year.

Filmbank represents more than 25 Hollywood, Bollywood and independent film studios who hold the copyright for the movies. UK hoteliers and B&B owners will be required to report quarterly to Filmbank on the titles offered, so royalties can be accurately distributed.
