The former area president of European business at Hilton Hotels, Wolfgang Neumann, has said he will remain in the hotel business for the foreseeable future. Neumann left Hilton last December having worked for the company since 1984.He told Caterersearch: “I’ve been enjoying a little holiday since the end of December in Dubai but I’m getting back into the swing of things. “After 24 years working for Hilton, I have a lot of positive memories and achievements but there have been a few offers, I’m not in a hurry to make my next move.”Neumann added he intended to stay in the hotel business and that he would continue to be based in London, with a view to working with European companies. Simon Vincent is now acting area president for Europe and the UK at Hilton.
