Gordon Ramsay confirms restaurant in Las Vegas

Gordon Ramsay has confirmed the opening of a new restaurant in Las Vegas, which will launch at the Paris Las Vegas resort in the spring.

The celebrity chef will take over the existing Les Artistes Steakhouse at the hotel and casino, which will reopen as Gordon Ramsay Steak.

The move comes after Ramsay opened rotisserie and barbecue restaurant Laurier Gordon Ramsay in Montreal last summer and marks the multi-Michelin-starred chef's fourth venture west of the Atlantic.

The 274-seat Gordon Ramsay Steak restaurant will offer a menu focused on aged beef and a variety of different cuts of meat as well as Ramsay's signature fish and chips and shepherd's pie.

"Vegas is such a vibrant city, and I'm excited to open my first Las Vegas restaurant in a Caesars Entertainment resort - Paris Las Vegas," Ramsay said. "The space is really bold and innovative, and we've put together a great team and created a contemporary, quality menu. I can't wait to open and start welcoming guests."

Gordon Ramsay Steak will comprise a main dining room as well as a large bar area, a private dining room and a chef's table. Interiors will be developed by San Francisco-based EDG Interior Architecture + Design and will celebrate Ramsay and London, bridging the resort's Parisian theme with Ramsay's British heritage.

Paris Las Vegas president David Hoenemeyer commented: "We at Paris Las Vegas believe that the addition of Gordon Ramsay Steak will be an exciting new milestone in the city's impressive culinary evolution."

Ramsay now runs restaurants in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Montreal, having closed his venture Cielo in Boca Raton, Florida.
