Savoy maitre chef des cuisines and marathon runner Anton Edelmann is pulling together a fundraising dinner in aid of a national children's charity with the help of fellow pavement-pounders Antony Worrall Thompson, Paul Heathcote and Philip Howard.
The dinner, at London's Savoy hotel on Tuesday 25 March, is to raise funds for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation. Other high-profile chefs - including Henry Brosi of the Dorchester and Paul Gayler of the Lanesborough, both in London, plus Ken Hom and Brian Turner - have agreed to host tables.
Edelmann has supported the foundation for over 10 years and last year raised more than £5,000 by running in the London Marathon.
