D&D London’s Orrery has lost its third head chef in less than two years, Caterersearch can reveal.
Former Michelin-starred chef Tristan Mason has left the Marylebone-based restaurant, just six months after joining it from the Hare in Lambourn, Berkshire last summer.
The news comes just three weeks after Orrery lost its star in this year’s Michelin guide, which it had held since 1999.
Orrery has had several personal changes in recent years with head chefs André Garrett and successor Allan Pickett leaving to join Galvin brothers’ restaurants.
It is unclear who will replace Mason and head up the kitchen at Orrery.

Using foraged ingredients is nothing new but the trend has become more mainstream over the past two years. However, the wider use of foraged food in restaurants also carries a certain amount of danger.
