Heinz Skalnik, general manager, Imperial hotel, Torquay

Paramount Hotels has appointed Heinz Skalnik general manager of the five-star Imperial hotel in Torquay, Devon. Skalnik's first role as a general manager was at Hotel Ananas in Vienna. He has subsequently managed hotels in the UK, Oman and Kuwait.
