Room to open London site in Hoxton Lodge

Catey-winning Room Restaurants is to open its first London eaterie this September.

The company, which launches its fourth Room restaurant in Liverpool today in boutique hotel 62 Castle Street, already has sites in Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow.

New project Hoxton Grille will be housed in Pret A Manager-founder Sinclair Beecham's new hotel in north London. The 205-bedroom Hoxton Urban Lodge hotel is due to launch on 1 September.

The restaurant will be a fusion of American diner and French bistro, drawing inspiration from New York dining.

"Hoxton is a great location, and as our first restaurant in the South we're very excited about the opportunity," the spokesman said.
