Blackpool hoteliers buy Dartmouth tea shop

The Singing Kettle

Former Blackpool hotel owners Brian Yole and Darren Morris have bought the Singing Kettle teashop in Dartmouth off an asking price of £350,000 for the freehold.

The traditional teashop in Smith Street is a three-storey, Grade II-listed property with  beamed ceilings and a large shop window.

Along with the 32-seat tea room, it has a small courtyard and two-bedroom owners’ accommodation on the first and second floors.

The Exeter office of Christie + Co sold the property on behalf of Debbie and Doug Morris, who have run the business for 18 years
