PaddintonCentral, the 11 acre mixed development in a former london railway yard, has signed up its last restaurant.
Seabass, which opened it's first upmarket fish and chip restaurant in james strreeet in London last December has bought a 25 year lease on a 2,584sq ft two-storey unit for an annual rent of £45,000. The operation expects to turn over £1m a year.
Founder Sarkis Kay plans to unveil a third unit in Fulham in December or January, and then open three of four new Seabass restaurants a year in London for three years before rolling the brand out nationally the restaurant completes the lineup at PaddingtonCentral that also includes Union gastropub, Zizzi, Yakitoria and upmarket Chinese food restaurant Pearl Liang.
