Guoman & Thistle Hotels has appointed Ian Barrigan global director of sales. He will be responsible for the group's entire UK and International sales network as well as overseeing the UK customer contact centre operations.
Prior to joining Guoman & Thistle Hotels, Ian held national and international senior executive roles for British Airways before joining Hilton Hotels, where he was director of business development for Hilton London Metropole.
