Cumbria Police Authority: Provision of catering services

Select Lists

Strategic and Commercial Procurement, Cumbria County Council are acting as agents for Cumbria Police Authority and applications are invited from suitably experienced contractors wishing to beconsidered for inclusion on the Select List of Tenderers.

The service required for Cumbria Police Authority Headquarters will include catering for officers, civilians; emergency and special events. Proposals for vending provision in three police stations and a vending/snack service in the proposed new divisional headquarters in Carlisle will also be required.

The contract will commence on 1 April 2008 for a period of three years, with the option to extend up to one further year.

Tenders will be evaluated on the basis of price and quality. The Authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender and the basis for the award will be the most economically advantageous tender assessed in accordance with criteria set out in the tender documentation. Prospective tenderers are asked to seek their own legal advice on these matters.
