BaxterStorey is the leading, independent food service provider in the UK. Formed in November 2004 through the merger of Wilson Storey Halliday and BaxterSmith, we have created a highly respected organisation, managed by a senior team, who because of their differences, are amongst the best in the industry. At BaxterStorey our philosophy is simple – everybody loves good food and service. And it’s not just about food, it’s about working together, exchanging ideas, relaxing and creating a better environment for our customers, clients and our teams.

Our people are some of the most talented in the industry and as a team we deliver the best for our customers – everyday. We acknowledge that our people make us successful and we have developed a business where people really do make the difference.

Our values are at the heart of everything we do. Working with us, everyday you will see evidence of them:

Creativity
Loyalty
Care
Enthusiasm
Fun

It is not easy describing the culture of an organisation in writing, but if you join our team, these are some of the things, you will experience.

Our commitment to training is evident from day one, when you commence your induction. At all levels it’s a programme that’s innovative and quickly makes you feel part of the team. We want people to contribute, to share their ideas and help shape what we do.

You will be amazed, not only at the extent of training opportunities, but also at how easy it is to access them. Our aim is to encourage everyone to develop his or her skills both professionally and personally. Our dedicated training team therefore offer programmes that cover everything from craft development to some of the latest management development techniques.

Another subtle thing that you will notice, is that bureaucracy doesn’t surround you. Yes we have rules and regulations, you need them in every business, but you will be surrounded by people who are encouraged to be innovative, who take a few risks and who dare to be different.

Everyone in our team is valued, respected and rewarded for their contribution. We say thank you, with a difference.

Our continued success is dependent on one thing: the performance, the quality and enjoyment of our people. Working at BaxterStorey is fun, we want people to enjoy being part of the team and be proud of what we achieve by working together.

We believe BaxterStorey is a great place to work, to become part of our team, contact recruitment@baxterstorey.com
