The award, presented by Fairmont president and chief operating officer Chris Cahill, recognised “the extraordinary efforts and outstanding environmental performance in areas of waste management, energy and water conservation, recycling initiatives and for building strong ties with the community through food and goods redistribution.”
General manager Kiaran MacDonald said he was delighted with the result. “It really is a great achievement and a wonderful recognition. We are all thrilled.”
