Arena appoints Lorraine Wood as director

Hospitality networking organisation Arena has appointed Lorraine Wood as its director to replace Penny Steiner.

Steiner vacates the role having served as director for the past two years, after revealing in June that the non-for-profit organisation was seeking a new head.

Andy Kemp, chairman of Arena, said: “Lorraine’s exceptional experience in this industry ranges from head of events at Quantum to former event director of the restaurant show and we’re delighted to have her on board.

“We’re confident that she will build on Penny’s success and take Arena and its members on to even bigger and better things.”
